My project celebrates the unique story and inherent beauty of each botanical object, inviting viewers to discover and preserve these little wonders.

Through these detailed and elegant images, "Botanical Studies" offers a fresh perspective on the intricate and often overlooked beauty of the little things around us.

UNVEIL THE HIDDEN BEAUTY OF FLORAL LIFE

Choosing black and white was a deliberate decision to strip away the distractions of color, allowing the raw textures and patterns to narrate their own story.

"Botanical Studies" is the culmination of nearly a decade of project work, inspired by the intricate scientific illustrations of Ernst Haeckel in his seminal work, "Art Forms of Nature."

My deep-rooted fascination with minimalist depictions of flora and fauna has its origins in my childhood during the 1980s.

The time spent perusing my mother's herbariums, filled with native medicinal plants, ignited a lasting passion for botanical art.

I invite you to explore my collection of FineArt Prints on Hahnemühle's gorgeous FineArt Baryta paper and discover the finest details and contrasts.

Museum board with a precise bevel cut, which aligns with the photo, is used as a matting Passepartout. The frames are made of black oak wood with a 20mm thick profile, giving the images a modern elegance and sophistication.

To provide special depth and brilliance in my prints while reducing reflections, I have chosen high-quality anti-reflective museum glass.
